Your rights

You have the right to:

- request access to your personal data by submitting a “subject access request”. We will send you a copy of the personal data we have about you for you to check, and you may request correction of any incomplete or inaccurate data we hold.

- request erasure of your personal data where there is no good reason for us to continue to process it, where we may have processed your personal data unlawfully, or where we are required to do so to comply with local law. Please note that we may not always be able to comply with such requests at the time of your request for specific legal reasons which will be notified to you.

- request to restrict the processing of your personal information if you believe that:

o   any of the information that we hold about you is inaccurate;

o   we no longer need to process your information for the purposes for which it was provided, but you require the information to establish, exercise or defend legal claims;

o   we are not using your information in a lawful manner.

 

- request the transfer of your personal data to you or to a third party, if technically feasible. We’re not responsible for any such third party’s use of your information, which will be governed by their agreement with you and any privacy statement they provide to you. Please note that this right only applies to data that is being processed electronically.

- withdraw consent at any time where we are relying on consent to process your personal data. However, this will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdraw your consent. If you withdraw your consent, we may not be able to provide certain products or services to you. We will advise you if this is the case at the time you withdraw your consent.

- ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes any time. We will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes - you can exercise the right to prevent such processing by checking certain boxes on the forms we use to collect your data.

- regarding automated decision making such as profiling, be informed, prevent such a decision being made, and/or ask us to reconsider the decision or to take a new decision on a different basis. Our Site does not engage in decision making solely by automated means.

Fees to access information

You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights).

However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we could refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.

Time limit to respond

We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month.

Occasionally it could take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.

Any changes we may make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by e-mail.

How long will we use your personal data for?
